Trevor has been a Trustee with BSCT since 2022.

 

He grew up in Hull during the last war.  He trained as an engineer before becoming a teacher in Technical Studies and a Youth Officer.

 

After retiring he has worked at Jacob’s Well Book Shop and 23 years ago helped set up the CHAT Charity Shop on Swinemoor Estate, Beverley and is still the Manager.  He has been Pastor of New Harvest Church, Beverley for the past 20 years.

 

Trevor has been a committed Christian for nearly 70 years and has been preaching the Gospel for 55 years, starting as a Methodist Lay Preacher.  He is a big supporter of the church preaching the full truth of the Bible.

 

He has served as a Prison Chaplain for 25 years and has also been involved for many years with helping people with Learning Disabilities, teaching the truth about Jesus.

 

Trevor is a Trustee with BSCT because he is passionate that children and young people in the education system be taught the truth about Christianity and also to support the “coal face workers”.
